What Else Happens Here

Our facilities, known as Kippax Uniting Community Centre, offer further opportunities to meet the needs of our local community. We have a strong focus on meeting the needs of people in the Belconnen region.

The facilities are used by various groups and agencies for their programs. These include:

YMCA - Alive and Well, Second Wind, Stay on Your Feet
U3A Choir - A group who join together to sing.

Parenting Courses Parenting courses are offered each term to offer support and new ideas to parents of young children.

Holiday Happenings

Kippax Kids Holiday Happenings are run at the community centre for Primary age children on Thursdays during school holidays.

Women In Transformation (WIT)

WIT began life at Kippax Uniting Community Centre ACT in 2003, by women who responded to the challenge to "walk the walk, not just talk the talk"- and that this would be in the area of social justice through social intervention!
