This week we have begun the Advent journey. It’s a time of anticipation and preparation for the coming of Christ. If we rush to the end of this story, as commercial enterprise urges us, we miss the point about God’s character. We miss the point of living through anticipation, living into the compassion, justice and faithfulness and liberation we are called to imagine into life for all creation.
